Diese Seite wird von Markus Ruf geführt, um auf seine Hilfsprojekte in Ecuador aufmerksam zu machen. Sie soll Anlaufpunkt für Menschen sein, die Anteil an seiner Arbeit nehmen oder sich an der Erfüllung seiner Aufgabe beteiligen wollen.

The HELFERSEITEN (supporter pages) came into being through a personal initiative founded by Linda Pracejus and myself. It was founded to support voluntary helpers in their work. A website like this one, enables helpers to introduce their projects and document their realization. Bernd Mehrtens

    Im November werden 4 Dächer von Schulräumen erneuert und in einer Schule sämtliche elektrischen Anschlüsse und Kabel erneuert. Ich werde selber vor Ort sein und mithelfen.

    Vom 7ten bis 9ten Oktober habe ich mit Steffen Marcel (Helpingman) einen Infostand an der ROGA, Rothrister Gewerbeausstellung.

    Anfang Juni werden zwei weitere Dächer in der Gemeinde Imbaburita erneuert. Besten Dank an die Besucher vom Vortrag " s'Rothrist am 9i ".

    Am Mittwoch den 2.März 2011 werde ich mit Lilo Graber zusammen einen Vortrag in Rothrist über unsere Arbeit in Ecuador halten. Der Vortrag wird von dem Verein "z'rothrist am 9i" organisiert. Ort: reformierten Kirchgemeindehaus Rothrist (liegt neben Schulhaus Dörfli) Zeit: 09Uhr morgens. Weitere Infos findet man auf der Datei "ecuador flyer 2"unten links auf dieser Seite.

    Neue Daten für das Jahr 2011, Frühling/Sommer werde ich in San Christophal/Mexico eine Ökotoilette und ein Spielplatz im Auftrag von Fundacion Nora Reyes Maza erstellen. Für den November ist geplant in Imbaburita/Ecuador die Renovationsarbeiten fertig zustellen. 2012 werde ich im Auftrag der Fundacion Helpingman auf der Insel Bali/Indonesien Bauarbeitern den Bau einer Ökotoilette zeigen.

    Am Samstag ist der Herbstmarkt in Rothrist gewesen.
    Unser Stand wurde rege Besucht und es kam ein Reinerlös von 1680.-CHF zusammen  smilie

    5 Jahre existiert nun Tierra-esperanza, 46 Projekte wurden/werden umgesetzt. 60ig Spenden sind eingetroffen in dieser Zeit, gesamthaft wurde über 40'000.-SFR gespendet. Besten Dank nochmals an alle Spender.  smilie

„LA TIERRA DE LA ESPERANZA - SOIL OF HOPE“



chars bout 20 years ago i went on my first trip to Ecuador. Many other trips to that fascinating country followed. Six years ago I went to the capital Quito to do a language course and suddenly I wished to do something for the local population. First I started to work in a kitchen for the poor in the streets of the old town center of Quito. I decided to engage more intensively in development aid.

Back in Switzerland, I started to search for an aid organization and I finally found the organization "Cielo Azul" from Basel. I spoke to the president of the organization and the idea surged to develop an ecological toilet. The planning took us a whole year. There had already been toilets that worked with chemicals instead of water, but they were too big compared to the size we needed for the schools.

The first installation was built in the village Imbabura close to the town of Otavalo in 2005. At the same time I started to plan and realize my first own projects. Which guidelines lead my work? I want to contribute to the self-sufficiency of the population and to help improve the children's situation.

The project name came up during the planning phase of this first project.

The end product of the ecological toilets is humus. this humus makes possible an improved harvest, alimentation, health situation...
